GFI FaxMaker is a very flexible solution, having various ways to use the product in conjunction with a hosted email service. Using the GFI FaxMaker Client Each user needs to have the GFI FaxMaker client installed on their workstation. This provides them with print-to-fax functionality using the GFI FaxMaker printer and the ability to send faxes directly to the fax server. The NetPrintQueue2Fax Printer uses the printer driver to send a fax messaqge, which by default uses the logged on username. In some situations, it is required to overwrite this account, such as: Using a batch print job which is executed by one user account In this case the print job will be executed by one account, but the customer requirements could be that the transmission report should be sent to other individual users, which are entered in the document. Client based printing with several user accounts In this case the requirements are that several users are able to print over the NetPrintQueue2Fax, but the transmission report should be sent to only one account, which is entered in the document.
