A new build of GFI FAXmaker 14.2 (build 20080703) has been uploaded. 

Changes within this release include: 


  FIXED: Auto printing cannot be configured because printer dialog is not populated 
  
  FIXED: When changing the chipset of a modem configuration crashes. 
  

Installation Requirements for GFI FAXmaker 14.2: 


  If installing on Microsoft IIS SMTP (x86), Microsoft Exchange Server 2000, or Microsoft Exchange Server 2003, then Microsoft IIS with SMTP Service installed is required 
  
  If installing on Microsoft Exchange Server 2007, Exchange 2007 Hub Transport Server Role must be present. 
  

Known issues: 


  When installing on Windows Server 2008 together with Microsoft Exchange 2007 SP1, it is recommended to install Microsoft Outlook instead of Microsoft Exchange Server MAPI Client and Collaboration Data

    <title>Faxes sent to a business contact are not delivered</title>

  The issue described in this article has been addressed in the GFI FAXmaker 14.2 build 20080609 
  
Issue Encountered: 

Faxes sent to a business contact or to fax:&amp;lt;number&amp;gt;' will not be sent and no transmission reports are received by the users. This issue is known to occur on GFI FAXmaker 14.1. 

On further investigation, the failed faxes are found in the &amp;lt;..inetpubmailrootqueue&amp;gt; folder on the GFI FAXmaker machine. 

This issue occurs when GFI FAXmaker 14.1 is installed on a separate machine than Microsoft Exchange server and your Microsoft Exchange Server is configured to use the GFI Faxmaker Exchange connector. 

Faxes addressedto &amp;lt;number&amp;gt;@faxmaker.com will be sent successfully.</p>

The issue described above can be solved by using one of the following options:
