    <title>Error when creating new Web Filtering Policy: ' already exists in another rule!'</title>
    <description>
     <div xmlns="http://www.w3.org/1999/xhtml">
      <p>

Issue Encountered:

The following error appears when adding a new Web Filtering Policy in GFI WebMonitor:

'&amp;lt;USERNAME&amp;gt; already exists in another rule!'

More Information:

Web Filtering Policies in GFI WebMonitor are applied on a user basis. Only one Web Filtering Policy can be configured for a particular user. The error above is generated if a Web Filtering Policy already exists for that particular user.

Solution:

The following resolutions address the issue discussed above:

  Update the existing Web Filtering Policy for the user to include the changes your wish to apply.

  Remove the user from the existing Web Filtering policy in GFI WebMonitor and create a new Web Filtering Policy for the user containing the rules for both Web Filtering Policies.

WebGrade Classification a unique and best of breed approach.

GFI uses a combination of automated classifiers and humans to classify web sites. GFI achieves high volumes and accuracy and covers more of the internet than anyone else through this unique technology and approach.

Web Analysts classification

The WebGrade URL classification process uses Web Analysts people who specialize in various languages and cultures to classify web sites. Each Web Analyst goes through a rigorous selection and training program before they are qualified to classify web sites and feed information to the Master Database. This flexible team can grow and shrink as necessary and works remotely with tools we have developed to classify sites fed to them on a priority basis from the central operations office. Web Analysts' classifications can be cross-checked for accuracy, and monitored for productivity, speed, and consistency. Although
